The Central Sports Center is an entity specialized in sports training of Olympic and national teams, both seniors and juniors.
COS is an institution of the budgetary economy within the meaning of the Act of 27 August 2009 on public finances (Journal of Laws of 2013, items 885 and 938) established to implement public tasks in the field of physical culture. The founding body is the minister responsible for physical culture.
In accordance with the Statute - the core activity of COS is the creation of organizational, economic and technical conditions for sports training conducted by sports associations and other subjects operating in the field of physical culture, including the implementation of tasks related to the preparation of the national team to participate in the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, Deaf Games, World Championships or European Championships.

In addition COS provides activities involving the use of organizational, technical and accommodation facilities to provide services promoting sports and tourism, organize related educational conferences and training, and provide services in the field of tourism and physical recreation for individuals and family recreation.
